About
Riverside Outskirts
In this small museological nucleus, located in the basement of a hotel, you can visit the structures of an Islamic House of the 12th century, which was part of the River Outskirts, built on this slope of the town of Mértola, outside the medieval defensive fence.
This nucleus holds a small exhibition with archaeological materials collected in the excavations of 2005 and 2008, which were conducted as part of the hotel project.
